The penalty in rookie and Pro should be able to disable by the host of the league.

In our league Rookie, Pro and Elite are all high leveled, so we have unreal conditions in our league among rookies and pros. An Lv7 manager in the rookie won most of the races in the second half of the season against an Lv20 manager without going online, as the weight (ballast) is far too high. Similar situation is our pro. Lv17-Lv20 managers have no chance to win the championship against managers with Lv 14-16.

Our league is one of the top leagues in iGP and the situation is frustrating for many managers. It can not be the solution to move to another league as we are all very familiar and nobody wants to leave the league.

I know the situation in our league is very special, but due to the large number of high-level managers, development should give us a quick solution.

Hi,
I'm the league-host of this league. And i support this comment. Currently the racing calendar has increased to 19 races. For managers with ballast very bad. I also have the feeling that in a strong pro league the ballast is unfavorable at 19 races.

Without the Ballast, a lvl 20 manager in rookie would dominate all lower level managers. perhaps the amount should be changed.

Whether or not the ballast is fair depends on the league (and its players) itself. This can not simply be assessed globally.

1st solution:
The host-manager can disable the ballast for Rookie and Pro seperatly.

2nd solution:
The ballast starts at the average level of a class. So, a single high-level-manager can not dominate. But one low-level managers can not dominate much high-level managers from the middle of the season or in wet races.

The problem in the actuelly situation with much high-level-managers is: The high-level-managers fight against the other high-level-managers in the first half of the season and they can not reach enought distance to the low-level-manager. In the second half of the season the one low-level-manager will overtake the high-level-managers.

Example:
The average of Pro is at level 17,4
Lv18: 1kg
Lv19: 2kg
Lv20: 3kg

The average of Pro is at level 14,3.
Lv15: 1kg
Lv16: 2kg
LV17: 3kg
etc

The 2nd solution is very well thought out and could replace the actual solution.

Here an example in the Quali today...

A Manager with Level 14 (without Ballast) is faster with Soft tyre than many drivers (with Ballast) with Supersofts tyre!

those. Do you want to drive the lower levels so that they can never get into the elite? and that they would receive their legal 40 experience after level 14? Just because someone used to play before

Hi. Looking at the league, there are a number of other low level accounts in the Pro tier and none of these have matched the excellent results that Alyon has achieved. So is ballast the only reason for this L14 Manager dominating the Pro tier or could it be that he is an exceptionally good manager?
He will soon be promoted and next season he will be competing against Elite L20 teams and be at a big disadvantage because of his low level Technology Centre. I say this from experience, I recently got my new team at L14 promoted to the Elite tier of a competitive league. I went from being dominant in Pro (Most races 1-2 finish) to struggling to get into the top 10 in Elite. This was because my DRS and Boost were underdeveloped in comparison to the L20 accounts.
So, next season will you be asking the devs to tweak the effect of the Technology HQ or for Technology to be switched off by the league host to allow this L14 manager to be competitive in the Elite tier?
Personally I feel it would be unfair to allow hosts to adjust iGP embedded rules (e.g. remove ballast) to penalise successful players.

Alyon is certainly an exceptionally strong manager and i'm very happy to have him with us in the league. My only concern is that it can not be that he's faster with Softs than others with SS. I think this is an indication that the ballast distribution is not fair. The most managers have a full developed car.

Hi Christian
I agree with your analysis that ballast is probably over compensating for the difference in level and is therefore a big advantage for Alyon. But as I said, wait until next season when both Christian K and Alyon are in Elite and ballast has been removed from CK's team, then the higher level Tech HQ will favour CK and Alyon will struggle. It's also unfair but this time it favours the higher level account.
I expect the devs never envisaged a situation where L20 / L19 teams would regularly be competing in Pro but the fact there are now many L20 accounts means this is inevitable. The ballast was introduced to prevent high level accounts from dominating lower level tiers (which used to happen in the old game) and in that respect it works. Your league is like the one in which I compete, the Pro tier has a number of high level managers and this skews things.

I think, this is the fact. But by removing ballast, it will be able for active hosts like "Christian Horn" to manage super-leagues, where from rookie to elite are only high-level-managers. I have to express my respect for "Christian Horn", he is an excellent league host!
