Just got to level 10 and bought a 'Young Driver Academy'.

Are there rules / Instructions on how it works?

Select a country and slide the bar accordingly based on how fast you want your YDA drivers to be trained. Maximum training = 5% per race and minimum = 1% per race. You have 5 free spaces (but you can extend this to 10 spaces via a rewards points option) and every free space you have is filled every race with new generated drivers. So if you generate 5 drivers and keep one, but boot the other 4, you will have 4 new drivers pop up after your next race.

You can also switch countries, it won't delete a driver you have in there from another country.

So your first race you will generate 5 drivers and you can choose whether to keep them or boot them into the driver market.

If you keep a driver in your YDA until they are "100% race ready" this means your driver has the ability to have attributes straight away which are at your scouting level +1. So if you're a level 12 manager and you keep your driver until he is 100% ready, he has the ability to have attributes at 13 straight away when you hire him or fire him. It doesn't mean he will have all attributes at 13, it's generated randomly, that's just the maximum potential. You'll find some drivers you release are like level 7 and some are level 11 etc, it's just really random and you hope for some luck.

So if you find a driver you like (EG one with 20 talent) and you want him to be a really low level, hire him straight away. If you want to increase the odds he gets to a higher level (recommended) then leave him in there until he is 100% race ready.

Drivers do not age in the YDA. There's a lot of talent on the market now, so I'd recommend only keeping drivers that have 20 talent and are 17 or 18 years old. Drivers will also be within the ages of 17-20. No higher, no lower.

Hope this helps.

I do not have the academy so cannot give any advice but does the page guide (the blue circle with the question mark, at the bottom of the page) not give any help?
If it doesn't then maybe something should be written up.
