I'll get the Dev blog out of the way.

What is the update on this ? I remember people asking for it and Jack replied with asking if we really wanted one and we all said yes.. So I am wondering where it is up to, as it was said that one was being made.

Weather System.

With the temps going back up around Europe, I am asking if something can be "started" if it's not been already.

It might take a while to make an in house one that can be as random as possible.. but it's going to be worth it. esp that iGP PAY for the current one. ugh.

It's ok now, but as it stands, we will go through the exact same thing by the end of this year. Monaco +4 degrees and running around on softs, freezing cold on fully pushing...

So I am asking where we are up to? Is one being sorted with the new W.I.P. system or is it going to be the same situation we have had this winter ?

Bumping because I've just seen something interesting.

Tonights race for our league is scheduled for rain.. So I thought that I would check the live races to see what the track is like.. Ok it's raining hard. No issues..

5 mins laters, our race is now showing cloudy.. I go back in to the same live race and it's still raining as hard as it was when I left.. I waited and it didn't clear up..


So how can this weather system be live when it's showing 2 different things for the same track??

I've seen a similar bug where it was cloudy in a race but when I opened the main page during the race it was showing heavy rain (in the middle section of the screen, where it says the race is live on a red button). Unfortunately I decided not to pay attention to it and can't remember the race id or anything. Will report if it happens again if it helps.

I meant to put that I spectated another race, but it was the same track.. my bad.


Update.

I've just gone in to the race and it's a bone dry track. So in les than 50mins, the track has gone from soaking wet to fully dry and the weather hasn't improved above cloudy.

Rob, I will ask for the instance of clonflicting weather from the same track to be looked into. Just slightly hesitant about whether this can be replicated, but let's see.

Personally, I'm not too bothered about the dev blog. (Although it would be a VERY niice addition to the site)

I just hope this september update is on course :D
