Race 1 Update
We're into Season 21 and we already have first time winners Lima Sport. A league vote was held to decide which Manager will receive the first Interview. The league voted for the winners to be voted so after a short conversation and provided questions from other Managers.
Interviewer: I'm here with David Lyons, Founder and Manager of Lima Sport. A blistering start to the season, both cars took the flag in a 1-2 Finish. Almost looked like a perfect race for Lima Sport. With this best start to the season, what would be the targets for the season.
David: Well I have to hand it to the mechanics, designers, engineers and the drivers on bringing together one of the best cars we've brought to the opening round in a very long time. With the result we got which is the absolute best we could ask for, it is possible we could aim for a Championship in either the Driver's or Constructors but for now we'll see what happens over the next couple of races before we set an ultimate target.
Interviewer: It is well documented that Schneider drop from the team was unexpected but seemed to have paid off with the introduction of Alex Smyth who took victory in his maiden drive. What was the reason for the drop and why did we choose Alex over your other young driver James Sterling.
David: It was a strategic decision, both on financial side and performance side when we decided to drop Nick. He was a great driver but didn't consistently hit targets, and scored no podiums. Felix beat him in all categories. Alex was chosen as he was ready, he has slightly more experience and hungrier of the two. We constantly review the situation with the drivers. In talent and skill, all three are so much on par. All we can do is try and given them all equal chance and see how we fit with both drivers we have in the cars at the moment. We may rotate midway or next season.
Interviewer: Looking at the LSP-03, you seem to have amazing straightline speed, Australia wasn't a speed track but she handled very well in the slow corners.
David: We have a very powerful engine this season and deployment is there where we need it. we definitely don't have the strongest Chassis and Aero (yet), but at the moment the next four tracks are all about straight line speed with their colossal straights, so we're focused on power. As for our win in Australia, strategy was key to allow us to get ahead and take the flag.
Interviewer: We also understand that Season 22 will undergo massive changes, similar to this lengthy season of 20 Races, next season we'll drop to 15. Any particular tracks you hope to see retained for Season 22?
David: Yeah, we're looking at that and using our votes to target tracks that would benefit us the most. Our design philosophy is very similar to the other top teams so naturally we will see our development work well with the calendar. I hope we retain the British GP as it is our home race.
Interviewer: Well thank you for your time and good luck in Malaysia!

Unanimously France received no votes for rotation and has been added to the 22nd Season, however Europe was voted out and won't be part of Season 22. Abu Dhabi, Turkey and Bahrain move onto the next round of votes.
The next tracks to be decided upon are the 2009 and 2019 British Tracks, United States, Monaco and Malaysia. It will be interesting to see which track will join Europe and if any tracks will be automatically entered. Results expected Thursday Evening!
