To motivate the last ones...

Do you want to award points to all drivers and relegate the last 4 or 5 of a season?

Hi all !  I have a suggestion to motivate managers at the bottom of the rankings :
If we award points to all drivers (even the last of the race like in Nascar) and if we relegate to the lower category the last 4 or 5 managers of a season (Instead of 2)... so it could be more motivating for them... So they would continue to play !
Of course 4 or 5 managers would be promoted to the next category.  So that would motivate up and down the rankings!
What do you think ??

Hey guys! If you're against it, do not just vote no. Explain why. It would bring more water to the debate.

I voted against. I think the current system works fine. 5 managers is almost a 3rd of the grid in a full league. In a 1 car league it would mean that up to 10 managers would change tier(20 people in pro!). Feels a ''tad'' too crazy for me.

It might be OK in one car team leagues but in a league with 2 car teams, in Pro you'd have half the division being either promoted or relegated. It's a bit overkill, if I'm honest

ok i agree that 5 is too much !!  But 3 (or 4) could be good.  I really think that a system where everyone scores points and 3 or 4 promotions and relegations would energize the leagues.

I would like to see them add more points paying positions, regardless if they extend it to 12th, all the way to 32nd, or somewhere in between.  However, I feel the current promotee and demotee postions are fine for both leagues.

Everyone scoring points is pointless (please excuse the pun)
The guy that wins will still score more - the scores would need to be adjusted, obviously - so the gap between 1st and last is still the same.

Everyone scoring points just means that instead of a league having a few zeros in it, it has points instead, the positions remain the same and nothing changes. The people who score the points, scored for the lower places know they haven't done well and scoring 2 or 3 points in a race is not going to fool them into thinking that they did well.
This game should follow the F1 scoring system, it works for them, so it works for us, too
My apologies if this post makes no sense but I have just taken my pain meds
