Why should luck determine DRS? Time and time again I've had races ruined because I've missed out on DRS through bad luck. I would like to see cars not overtake if just before DRS point as would happen in real racing so you get the massive advantage of DRS, it shouldn't be left to luck. Will propose it as a game improvement. I assume realism is the aim.

I too have found this to be frustrating. Even when using the push to slow the car down. Many races have been jeopardized by overtaking just before Drs and then get overtaking during. Then next fwww laps are the same over and over not getting anywhere

Absolutely, no driver ever overtakes just before DRS,  not only do you miss out on the extra speed but you get re-passed which is what usually happens in the game. There either needs to be a change in the software that holds back the car just before DRS or they need to have a disable overtake button.

How about a do not pass button? Where the driver will just follow the next car up, without overtaking.

Tonight's race, 3rd stint, my driver overtook about 5 times just before DRS,  my competitor caught it every time, he won the race by about 5 seconds. In real life my driver would be sacked!

This should be an online option only. To trigger/reward more managers to be online during the races (in the competition I'm hosting, there are a lot of managers who do the training and the settings but don't come online during the races).

I'd like to see a way of slowing cars down
How about the ability to order a lift & coast scenario? A driver could be ordered to save fuel via a Save Fuel button, that way, they'd lift & Coast, lap slower and also (because it would be programed in) they'd hold back, coming into the DRS zone if they were within, say 0.3 seconds.
The beauty of having a FS button is that if you've underfuelled, you can hit FS and get to the finish without needing to stop. You might lose a place but it's better than losing numerous places by stopping for fuel an extra time.

Great idea!

Just give us a brake pedal. Then you can brake if you are about to pass before the DRS. That could be a really fun extra strategic tool :D
