Hi, i'm new here and just wondering why  my suspension is at 54% (58% for driver N2) after only one race? In the manufacturing facility quality is set on High.

Suspension usually wears the most and after that the chassis. The amount of wear depends of the track you've been racing, the race distance and also on how much you've pushed your drivers.

Percentages of 54 and 58% could be right of you've had one of the harder tracks.

Thanks for the fast reply. Last race was in Italy (i don't know if here the track is as hard as in the real F1) basically at "hold position", 50% race distance league. So i guess it's ok.

Nick, keep in mind too, that worn parts cause the car to go more slowly

Thanks, Edwin. That's the other thing i was thinking about. Is the difference between 100% and 60% part big enough to feel it? It's my 4th race,  ~22% parts development. With other words do i have to change most of the parts after every race? Thanks again :)

Hi, I have another question related to this topic, on the manufacturing facility we can set the quality of new components, how does that influence the quality of the parts, by more starting condition?
As I think I understood, at high quality, a new part will start a race at 100% condition, then a part with balanced will for example start at 80% for example?
Do you know which is the real condition? 80%? 90%?... because it's hard to see, as you will see its condition after a race has finished, and you will have worn to it.

Does that quality also influences on how much a part wears in a race or only in the starting condition?

It affects only the starting condition, and you can see it 10 minutes before the start of a race if you click Next race in the top left (on the assembly tab). It will show the condition of the refitted parts, but I don't think it's worth setting any quality lower than the highest.

Ah ok, didn't try to look just before the race how they where :P

Thanks

Ultimately, you want to replace every part every race, except for the engine (do this every second race)

Unless ofcourse you're trying to save money, then only change what you have too.

But yes, worn parts start slowing you down straight away. The more you can replace every race, the better.
