On this point, we just had a "connecting..." display momentarily before it came back a couple of seconds later, all tyres are now dark blue again on display despite being red before.

Same happened for me, just that my tyres were grey instead of blue.

And fuel loads reset to start of stint values. And tyre wear was reset for me too.

Same, everything got reset to what it was at the start of the race.

I've created a separate thread since this isn't specifically a "tyres" issue. I don't think this is merely a display issue either since some teams are still going without pitting ages after they should have stopped based on their stint 1 fuel loads.

A connecting message came up for 2-3s or so and this resulted in tyres being reset to blue on all cars (and this was all that happened to me). Others had much more beneficial things reset. Reports quickly came in that some cars got reset to their race starting fuel and 100% tyre conditions, even though they were almost out of fuel and on shot tyres when the issue happened, and hadn't gone anywhere near the pits throughout. This gave them  a huge advantage, a free pit stop essentially.
