Many forums start posting the rankings of their best leagues. It is something great, I think. It is a kind of advert for the best ones. New players will try to join it based on their reputation.
However, those rankings are manually done and unfortunatelly too often, it is not updated. In the case of the French speaking forum, this ranking stayed for month without update. The author doesn't eveen play anymore to iGP and some of the leagues mentionned in the ranking no longer exist as well.
Wouldn't it be better to create this automatically in the Hall of Fame? The same way we have a global ranking of managers, we could have a global ranking of the best leagues. Including a filter by country would be also a good option if you're looking for the best league in your own country/language. Many video games adopted this system. Why not iGP?
