Hi, if i was to change the race length from 50% to 75% for my league for the next season, do i have to do it before the current one ends at any time, or before the final race of season, or can i change it after the season has finished and still work for the new season's first race?

Last time I changed race length in my League it took effect 2 races next, so based on that my answer is: it wouldn't affect the race within 24h, but it will affect the races after that.
As you just want to change the race length for the next season, I'd recommend changing that few hours before the last race starts. That way you'll have your last race running on desirable length and also the next season's =)
