Hi everyone!

I wanted to ask you if there is any general rule on when to user intermediate over wet and the other way around.
For example I was trying the setup for today's race and with 1.2mm of water the intermediate tyres were almost 4sec faster.
While on a different track over 1mm wet tyres were faster. Could it be that the track affects as well the performances?

As a very rough general rule:

Dry tyres > Intermediate tyres: 0.2mm rain depth crossover
Intermediate tyres > Full Wet tyres: 3.0mm - 3.2mm rain depth crossover (depending on the track and conditions)

As always, there are exemptions to this! ;-)

So, as a general rule, 3mm should be the threshold.
Thank you. Now that we are going into the cold season, wet races will be more frequent so I should have enough chances to test it.
