Lately I, along with other competitors in my league, have been running out of fuel midrace...on pit lane or sometimes right before the entrance. Is there a way to fix this? Maybe have cars coast a certain amount of feed until their speed is at 0 KPH, sort of like when cars get a tire puncture?

Simple put more fuel in your car!! In real F1, if your engine stopped on the track or in the pit lane, u cannot restart the engine unless ur car is in your pit area. So i suggest just add more fuel in your stint if you dont want to run out!!

Oh wow, is that how that works? I never would have thought to add more fuel! This is amazing advice and I will surely win more races now!

Sounds like a glitch to me. If you are low on fuel the game pits your car except on the last lap of the race. It should always pit your car if the fuel left in the tank is less than the fuel usage number indicated at the time your car is about to pass the pits. The only situation I can imagine that would cause mid race stop is if your push level on the lap before pitting caused the usage number to go up during that lap. To prevent this don't increase your push level if your usage number is the same or very close to your fuel left in tank.

I'd rather reality change to reflect the game. I want cars to immediately stop where they are when they run out of fuel instead of coasting to a stop.

I also ran out of fuel in the race few weeks ago in Abu Dhabi. The cars had 4L of fuel left when they drove on the start/finish straight and as they used 3,7 per lap I decided not to pit them. Literally just before the actual finish line the 4L number dropped down to 3L (meaning 3.9 litres left right?) so I was under the impression that if I move the push level down a bit just to be on a safe side they will make it round. They both retired 2 corners before the pitlane. I have done this before, overriding my drivers' decision and they always made it before. Did something change in the game so we are all miscalculating fuel?

Jaka, wrong assumption. I believe when it shows you going from 4L to 3L, it is actually 3.5L going down to 3.4L (though i have heard it could also be 3.6 going down to 3.5). Either way, your drivers were right in wanting to pit

This just happened again where I ran out of fuel on pit road and this could quite possibly cost me the championship. Please fix it.

Hi can we please have a decimal point in our fuel setup numbers. When I finish a stint with .8L left I feel wasteful.
