I'd take guess and say the Pro tier didn't have enough teams to activate promotion, so you weren't promoted. Don't know why your championship stat wouldn't update though.

Looks like the numbers 2-4 did get promoted to elite, only you as champion didn't. I'll flag this with high priority to support so they can manually promote you before the new season starts.
The championship stat not getting updated is probably a symptom of this non-promotion bug.
