2d keeps freezing

Any idea why? It's the same "click" bug we had ages ago, where you click something new on the screen (like a driver or the chat menu or something) and the whole screen freezes.

Just had 2D freeze like 3-4 times in 2 minutes.

Java console reports nothing.

Had same prob 2day, and on other days aswell mostly b4 race start in my case but sometimes in race to.

3 times b4 race started 2day.

This is happening again.

(Unknown source) comes up a lot in the java console today.

This was happening again today, on a completely different computer and internet connection miles apart. Happened in two different leagues that are 9 hours apart.

I know this was also happening for Gary again today, because he mentioned it before the race. Getting very tired of this now.

For clarification on the problem, it's not even the click bug any more. The screen just randomly jams after it's been open for about 20 seconds at any random time. It does this multiple times every race, and every time it does it the java console comes back with (Unknown source) after every line in there.

Happened again, 3 of last 4 races now, and usually more than once at a time but all before the race starts...

and prob 15-20 times in the last 4 weeks

I don't get freezing, but I do get a constant stutter lag when I put it into the higher quality.

It's a bug in the game I think because it isn't just 2D that is freezing - It's only doing it before the race.

As soon as the race starts it's 100% fine.

Does it help at all if I tell you that everything you do before it jams, resets?

I mean for instance you get in, you set your drivers to 5/5 push (if they werent on 5/5 already), you sit there talking to the other managers for 2 minutes (so you know you're actually connected fine) and then it jams. When you reopen it your drivers are back on 1/5 or 2/5 or whatever you had set previously.

Or if you change your tyres/fuel quantities in the pit boxes, they all reset back to your original after the jam aswell.

Stuff like that.

Probably no one else is bothering to complain. A lot of users don't use the forums lol, or think it's their end so they don't bother.

We're on opposite sides of the world so surely it can't be coincidence XD

I had it happen to me today. It was right at the start when I was going through the settings checking and unchecking things. It froze, I closed the viewer, opened another, and I didn't have the problem again after that.

Ours is happening multiple times every day. It's getting really annoying.

Today my 2d was working for about 3 minutes before it did it the first time. I was busy chatting to people when it happened (was well passed the checking/unchecking options stage)

I'm sorry this is still happening.  I haven't yet managed to identify the cause.  I suspect this is to do with a bug in the simulator whereby the connection may not automatically restore if it drops before the race starts.  I am close to releasing a fix for an unrelated issue that will probably sort this too.

You can help me a lot if you could give me the times (preferably in GMT) that you notice this happening.  Thanks for your help.

I am not sure but I think it is only certain leagues that are having problems - when the load is very high on the simulator.
I might be wrong - personally I have never had a problem!

5.50pm-6pm GMT.

But think it happened when i opened a different league in 2D a couple of hours later but don't generally open 2D at different times though.
