How about a sort of hall of fame for all your old drivers?There you could see every achievement for your team. How many race wins, poles etc.
So they wouldn't be forgotten after retirement or when they leave.
I can't imagine this would be much of an programming effort?
Edit: and your new drivers could be there too if you like to add them for comparison.
