Driver experience fast gain?

Can someone explain how you can get a 17 year old driver who has done 0 or 1 or 2 races in there career but has 20 for experience like i've seen some of the top guys in hall of fame have, i  understand drivers gain 1 experience point every 10 races approx so how to gain 17 experience driver stat points from as little as 0-10 races?
is it something to do with quick races? and how many driver experience points do you get from quick races? 
because i did 11 quick races but my driver gained no experience points...

QR(Quick Races) = 1 DE Exp Pt/20 races.

As Hamlet says, the pilot's experience increases by 1 point for every 10 races of his championship, while in the quick race for 1 point it takes 20 races, on the other hand, with quick races the pilot does not age
