I have 2 drivers in my shortlist, and want to have one of them as my Driver, but I dont know who will be better,

1st, with 17 Talent: http://imageshack.us/a/img827/7176/g99d.png
2nd, with 18 Talent: http://imageshack.us/a/img29/4787/pvbq.png

Who´s better? and why?

The higher talent one. But, even so, try to find others with even higher talent rating.

The 1-Talent difference is better than age and other thing that the first one have better?

So, searching drivers I only need to check talent? rest of thing arent relevant? (I know the talent is the unique thing that can not be improved.)

Thanks!

2nd driver. More talentend and younger = more time to train + would become better

but like elcio said the higher the talent the better

Truth be told no one really knows what talent actually does. We can all come up with theories but that's it.

But it's the only static attribute, so surely higher can't hurt right.

But it's not the only thing that matters no, it's just what you should consider the most when picking a driver.

Victor, you are at level three. It is hard to find high level talent with good speed ratings. consider fast corners, slow corners and wet. Also consider stamna. At your level I would choose a talent 13 or 14 driver with better fast, slow, and wet ratings over a level 17 or 18 talent driver. In my opinion a talent 13 with 4 stamina, 4 fast, 4 slow, and 4 wet would be something I would consider pretty good. That should last you till level 6 where you could have a better selection of higher talent drivers.

It is a good considering too. I actually have 2 drivers, and I will not upgrade them until the next season, but I wanted to know what to see, to have better drivers in next season :)

Thanks you all.

A separate "talent" slot is still bs to me.. Talent is a drivers makeup.. it's not a separate indentity..

It should either be locked attributes or 5 x 1 extra space in training.. take 5 random slots up to 21.. this way the manager could chose the style of driver they want...

Not really... well I guess that depends on how you think of talent. To me talent is how good someone is at something straight away.. you know, someones "natural talent" .. someone who is better at something after a ton of experience I just refer to as skills.

I have a friend in motorsport who basically every time we've been in a new class of something - karting, formula fords, formula vees, whatever - He is always always always faster than me straight away, by quite some margin, but after months of practice I always end up being the faster one. So I always refer to him as having more talent, but myself more skill through experience.. He just picks things up faster than I do but seems to cap off earlier than I do.

I dunno XD Just how I look at it.

ive found talent sometimes means alot and sometimes not.....its all in race stratagy too...other attributes also affect this such as weight and age even....so you have to look at all aspects....just go with ur gut...ur low enough of a lvl yet it wont matter as much...dont get me wrong attributes matter...but in the higher lvls they mean more

I understand ''Talent'' as Ryan Grant said.

Ok so:
low level: High talent drivers are betters anyway.
high level: every attribute is important, talent is the most important, but the others attributes can make the difference.

is it correct?

I hope this sums it up a little for you..

Talent 4 with 19 in all of the key areas.. Stamina, Reflexes, speed and so on...

They would be able to beat someone with talent 20 but with 2's to 6's for the other key areas.. but once they start to get above 12.. The talent 20 will soon catch up to the talent 4.. even with all the key areas trained..

This is how I would have it.. It would mean that we (the managers) would have more choice in how we would like our driver and teams set up.

Health should also be considered. Personally, I'd choose the driver with 78% health, even if he/she has less talent  than the other one.

If I'm gonna keep a driver for a long time, I would grab a young driver with a really high talent even if his other attributes are really low because you'll have the chance of improving those other areas....
If it's going to be a short time, I would grab a driver with better attributes even if his talent is really low...
