Constant lagging

I have been racing with this program for over a year now. So I know that this happens once in awhile. However, in the last three races I have such bad lag during the race that DRS and using KERS are almost impossible to use. I have noticed while trying to use KERS the race or screen would freeze for a period of time and Idk how much KERS I use and then all the sudden the race fast forward and I burned way more than I tended to use. Also, getting into DRS or trying to avoid DRS is difficult because the races have been freezing or fast forwarding randomly. As I said before I have raced for over a year so I know it happens but I am wondering if it is server related or if this is something you can look into. I have been using the same devices and network and everything for as long as I played this game so it can’t be all the sudden not working. Thank you.
