Ultimate F1 livery with the ultimate driver. Best ever package, I believe.

I'm just wondering how old you are.. not being funny.. It's just that anybody from a certain era talking about cars and art would always put the JPS as the No1 car.

Edit.. Images below.

Rob,

I'm old enough to remember the JPS Lotus and if I'm to be truthful then it was a fine choice between the JPS and the Maclaren.

Not insulted by the "anybody from a certain era"

Very good Rob. Love the original yellow & green Lotus.

That picture is from SIlverstone I believe, Copse corner?

That car was racing at Silverstone a few weeks ago & will be again at the end of the month.

2 things to say after that.

1 Yes I really am that old.
2. Does that win me a spod point?

How about the Jordan 7up livery?

lolol.. I seriously didn't mean any offence Tony. :P I agree with the others.. esp the Buzzing Hornet.. stuning livery.

TBH. Stand back and take a proper look at the McLaren.. It's the 2 drivers from the era that make the car special for me personally.

and Edwin.. I think it was.. around the 63 season, they was racing at Silverston.

100% true story. My Dads mate was coming away from Silverstone and was thumbing a lift.. This nice car pulls up and he hops in.. Asked where he was heading to and said "Yeah. I'll drop you at the train station." The trip was around 30 mins.. My Dads mate looked at him a few times and knew he recognised him... but he couldn't think... a few mins before being dropped off at the station and turns to the bloke and says.. "Hang on a min, are you Jim Clark ?" The reply comes back. "Yeah. I am indeed." My Dads mate said. "I've just bloody watch you win the British GP." Jim laughed, asked if he enjoyed it, signed a card for him and drove off leaving my Dad mate stunned...

Superb story.

EDIT*.. If you right click the images and view them.. They are a lot larger and make a great screen piccy. :D

Michael, yes I like that too. The 2nd season they ran it with more sponsors & spoilt the looks for me.

Patrick taken from us too soon as well

Nicola Larini in his Lamborghini 3512 from 1991. If this team could survive, today they would be possibly leaders. Better than Red Bull ;P

I was always a fan of the red brushstroke on the Toyotas. Pictured is the 2004 TF104.
