hi all quick question as I’ve never kept a staff member this long but my chief designer is due to retire at the end of his current contract.
Will I be able to sell him if I buy another chief designer or am I stuck with my retiring staff member?

Unfortunately you're kind of stuck with him.
You can end his contract but you'll have to pay his wages for all of the races remaining. In other words, if his salary is £1m per race and you've just renewed his contract it will cost you £50m to get rid of him.
