By dots I mean our cars, on track. There's only so many colours we can use really, but it's really annoying on track when you have like 3 teams using red, 3 with blue, 3 with black etc etc.

Any way we could split them down the middle and allow us to use two colours, or three, or something?

I know a simple solution would be to use the cars instead of the dots, but I don't like them. They're really hard to see, and you can't see kers usage or even drivers names like you can with the dots.

Yeah good idea.

And instead of selecting the colour yourself, it could just pick the two or three colours from your livery.

Good luck reading the numbers over a black/white dot split down the middle. :D Or a little rainbow ball with a white number on top.

Split it into three then, that way the numbers are only covering one colour XD

Surely there's got to be some way to make the little dots more exciting.. or maybe we could get the names/kers/drs put on the cars XD But the cars are still near impossible to see unless you zoom right in.

But you can use multiple shades of colours (or has that changed) - every dot can be different.  The managers in each tier just have to work together and choose different shades.  There is a whole palette of single colours to choose from.

Yes but no one does that. Everyone picks a colour the same as their livery (makes sense if you ask me)

Seems a little stupid to have a red team and a red livery, and a whitish purpley dot lol.

Yes and that is the point I am trying to make.
Why don't you all just get together and choose different shades of the colours.  A whole lot easier than waiting for the devs to add it to their list.

And sorry if I am I completely confused here - I thought the dot was the same as your team colour - which can be nothing to do with your livery.  This is something you choose, so it can be any shade you want.

That's what I'm saying lol. Why would anyone choose a purple dot if their team and livery was green and yellow, etc XD

I'm just being fussy. Don't worry, lol.

I agree with that, that does annoy me - when the dot doesn't match up with the car. When the livery builder was introduced I thought it might make sense to scrap the team colour option and replace it with the primary colour from the livery, but because of how the livery files were set up it isn't always the primary colour that the user considers their team colour....

Oh I think I see what you are all saying - I don't have 2D so was unaware of the changes - please ignore all my previous comments - guh!!

"Jack
it isn't always the primary colour that the user considers their team colour....

Case in point: my team.

The primary livery color is dark grey (nearly black), and this is what I use for my team color. The secondary color is gold. I've actually been meaning to change my team color to my secondary color for a week or so, like my second team is set up. (Imagine that livery as identical to the Monarch one, but with green instead of gold.)

edit: Just changed my team color from #191919 to #f1ae21.
