So, i have noticed that the pit-lane time is different for each team, even in the same race and with same pit-stop times. This difference can be up to even 2-3 seconds that can easily ruin a race. I understand that it is more realistic for the pit-lane time to vary between each team, but over 0.5 seconds it's a joke. I think that it depends on the number of each car and so its position in the pit-lane, which is something out of the manager's control, but i'm not sure. Either way, i think that we should all have exactly the same pit-lane time and only the pit-stop times to differ, in order for the game to be fair for all.
Also, it would be nice if on the information tab for the next race we could see the pit-lane time (without taking into account the 4-5 seconds for the pit-stop), because looking at the time sheets from previous races (which are not always available), can be quite inaccurate due to the above-mentioned issue. I think it's something quitely easy to fix that will make the game more fair and balanced.

I'm in the same competions and second the motion about pit times.

Some how sometimes u win either 2 or 3 sec coming out of pit lane and some times u lose.

But it would be fair if we dont lose that much if its between 0.1 and 1.2 sec that is a normal time diverance.

Thanks for looking into this problem

Speedy.

I agree, it's so frustrating when this happens. I suppose in some ways it replicates the pit stop errors in real life which can and do contribute to the final result. But I'm with you, random pit stop errors are awful, when it happens you just feel like... Why did I spend an entire day deliberating over strategy, training drivers, optimising allocation of design points and research only to have my entire race screwed over by a pit stop.

If pit stop times are going to be variable then at least give us some way of reducing the risk of a poor stop by linking pit crew effectiveness to some form of training or possibly the level of the Technical Director.
