With both championships already sealed, Raven flew comfortably to Ino, Japan, for the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka.

In qualifying, it was Raven's championship leader Lemaire who sealed pole position, ahead of Rodallega, from Fat Daddy, closely followed by Antsyforov from Drago Racing, Raven's main challenger for the last three seasons. Sofia Faye, Raven's other driver who won the previous two races and had the momentum, was all the way down in 7th after an error in the Degner corners in her qualifying lap.

The race however provided more drama for the Raven team, as at the start, the manager was absent and it was Antsyforov who directly took the lead. Lemaire and Faye fell down the pack, but upped pace when their manager turned up at the pitwall.

Lemaire directly set the fastest lap, to get back into Antsyforov's DRS zone, yet had troubles to keep up, and had to use a bit of kers every few laps. In the meantime, Rickard Rydell started charging through the pack, having started in 8th, he took the lead in the 7th lap from Antysofov, who lost some time because of that. Lemaire was now also overtaken by Rodellaga, and all 14 cars where within 10 seconds of each other.

Rydell made his first pitstop, seemingly on a two-stop strategy, compared to the others on one-stop, so Antsyforov was back in the lead after lap 9, now closely followed by Lemaire and Faye, who did some great recovery work after her bad start. Both Raven cars where low on kers already though, and Antsyforov had a tank full.

Then their pitstops came, and Antsyforov was still in the lead, as Faye overtook her teammate. Faye took the lead thanks to DRS on the next time by, and Lemaire used all his kers to get ahead of Antsyforov, and overtake him accelerating from the hairpin.

Now, Antsyforov was still looking good for the win, with way more kers than the Raven cars, yet with both the cars ahead, Lemaire slowed a bit down in order for Faye to gain a lead. Every time on the main straight he pushed, in order not to be overtaken, yet through the esses, Degner curves, the hairpin and Spoon's, where it's difficult to overtake, he stalled Antsyforov. Faye gained over half a second, lap after lap, because of this.

With five laps to go, Antsyforov knew what was happening and used his kers to steam past Lemaire and post the fastest lap. He was now 2 seconds behind Faye, who did seem to have a faster natural pace.

In the closing laps, Antsyforov tried, used his kers and pushed really hard, and almost got into DRS range, but ultimately destroyed his tyres, so it was Faye who won her race third race in a row. Lemaire, in the last lap, came really close to 2nd place, because of Antsyforov's overheated tyres, but lost out by 0.05seconds on the line. Rodallega put in yet another consistant performance to finish 4th.

Great writeup!
I do this every week for my fantasy football leagues and it is a big winner with everyone.
