DRS Optional

My idea is to allow DRS to be optional in the leagues to avoid the following situations:
- Often, the game's bots end up influencing the result with DRS a lot.
- Some players enter leagues with two accounts, one of which is used only to use DRS in the "main account".
- Many players, intent on harming others and even helping a friend, end up combining the use of DRS with this purpose.

I think that would make the game more honest and less conducive to "manipulation" of results,because in my league I have been having a lot of problems in this regard and many players are complaining.

And being optional for each League, each administrator can use whatever is best for theirs.
Please, I ask you to consider the idea xD

I think it would be better if the effect of the DRS flap was greater on some cars than others. Maybe make it another area on which to spend DP. I know a teams level and how good their HQ is can vary the effect of it, but it's obviously not enough otherwise we wouldn't hate amount of DRS "trains" that we do now. By adding it into the Upgrade page not only does it become a much bigger variable, it gives managers a choice, do I spend my DP on getting better Acceleration, Brakes or DRS? 

Drs is too strong tone is down alot, most races are decided by who is luckiest with drs

but its a tactic actually used by racers everywhere, wouldn't you want to be pulled along by a team mate during a race?

if players dont set up the cars then they should not be in the races, yes ppl can forget but thats just tough luck.
there are many leagues all running diff times so you can find a league you can attend races in.

this way there will be less cars on track and less chance of drs.

in full leagues its just tough.lol

Exactly. What happens is that in most of the races the DRS ends up being the main decision factor.

The point is not whether or not there are many people in the league.
The main problem is that there are people who enter two, three accounts in the League and use these extra accounts to keep pulling their "main team". It is not fair. And it is difficult to know who does this.
In my league, I already exclude people who were doing this scheme because it's not fair to others

It would be a great option for the leagues, as there are many players who are using 2 accounts or more to get the drs into the main account, such as races after boring and predictable stays.

if multiple accounts is the problem then i guess we are all in trouble, nothing can be done as its a email sign up to register, these days even ip checker mean nothing as most ppl run dynamic dns servers which gives random ip addresses each log in.

you can only build trust that ppl are playing fair so to speak.

I was in the lead of a race for 90% and before the final pit stop I was 5 seconds ahead, pitted then had no drs again, few laps later I was 10-15 seconds behind 1st.
The reason was drs was giving them an advantage of +2 seconds per lap which is just so stupid, being in the lead is actually a disadvantage it really pisses me off loosing a race to whoever has the most luck with drs

so you got in the lead using all your drs then lost the lead when the others used thiers, am i understanding that correctly?

or are you saying the game bugged and you had no drs when you should have had some?

if its the 1st option then you were only in the lead as you used your drs, the others like most save it till near the end of the race.
