when trying test runs there is 1.\"increase\" , 2.\"increase a little\", 3.\"increase a lot\"

i use them as : 1-  5 or 6 points
                            2-  3 or 4 points
                            3-  10 or 11 points

Keep a record of the values used for each test and the feedback received. Then compare the final values to the initial values with respect to the  feedback on the earier tests.

Simple logical way to determine the ranges for a little/a lot.
