Just a thought but as you can buy staff and train drivers, it would be a good touch if you could train certain aspects of the pit crew too. Maybe making the pit stops more about skill and timing than just in and out?

The trouble with your idea is the fact that the length of time a car is stationary in the pits is dictated not by how fast or efficient your pit crew is but by how much fuel is going in. If we didn't have refueling, your idea would rock.
