Pretty daft comment, so these companies want to focus on console gamers where let's face it there is a far wider audience to the type of game's they make ie. arcade pick up and play type games. They're all businesses at the end of the day and they want to maximize their profits, ok it's not great for the PC gamer, but there are plenty of alternatives. You don't get the likes of Iracing on consoles which is by far the best racing game on any platform ;)
Indeed. Plus, why should you deny others something they may enjoy just because you like it? I really like console games, and my PC isn't ideal for gaming. Should I root for the death of PC gaming? No, because that would be a giant loss for companies and the industry in general.
Besides, I think there's a difference between "designed for consoles" and "designed to be accessible to a wider audience." iRacing is for incredibly serious players, whereas F1 2012 is designed for fans of F1 who play and are used to games like Forza and Gran Turismo and are more interested in using a controller and playing for fun rather than dropping money on a wheel and tracks and playing competitively. (Not that playing competitively can't be fun, but you know what I mean)
