New Quali is rubbish

Since the drivers cant make mistakes in quali any more, which is now determined entirely on FE, it cn lead to some people have good quali all season, and others having bad quali all season. This means consitancy kills any chance of a season long battle since you are stck with it all season. I vastly prefer Random race by race than beeing stuck with it all season. Please revert quali back to before make it so that quali isnt the same people doing well or bad all season.

A)Piolts barely have an effect now, it's all down to the car and b) I prefer Random over being stuck with it all season, cause then it is never close or fun

so you agree that you have the best car the drivers are all 20 and in the rain you start from the 28th position and 4 pit stops in Canada, for example, and on the pole position a pilot with the talent of 14 and mental abilities of 10?

no, but it wasnt that random before - I am not for completely random, but no element of chance is even worse. now with it coming down to car development, if you are having poor quali's vs your rivals early doors, you know the season is a right off straight away, which is not fun.

believe me, I have done this more than once,and in order not to hope for an accident, you need to look at a couple of races ahead and swing the car depending on the characteristics of the track

but that wont work now - Quali is now linked to Fe strongly so either that is up to scratch for the season or you are stuffed. I know what I am talking about too, I have played this game for 2 years.

I have realised that I need to addapt my car development stratagy, but regardless, the way quali is now means that you cant save it mid season, you can tell very quickly if you have a chance or not

As I read here, you understand cars that are well developed tend to have faster qualifying laps. What I can suggest for you is to research and change your design strategy.

The problem right now is that even quite a few points of a better car counts rather very little in terms of improved time, way less than the scope of driver errors. Yes, I did like a bit of driver errors for the thrill to see where I start, but overall the performance should prevail, as I'd rather have a rotten season due to a rotten car (at least if I managed to salvage what I can in the races) than a great season based on a streak of lucky Qualifications, as I can't find any achievement in the latter.

So for me it's sorting out the car system first and then there's room again for a bit of driver variance in Qualification.

Then you should have a look at the car development. The great advantage of the current system is that it shows exactly the state of car development.

When you have a worse quali Performance than race Performance your race speed is likely based on your better race Management

I completely agree Connor! Now qualifying can be very tedious because it is always the same, removing some off the random fun held within the game. It used to be only partially annoying with a bad quality every few races, but to be start further back much more regularly really makes you lose hope.

So instead of looking to improve people will blame the devs.

I have never wanted less random Quali, I will make that clear

Fuel should effect qualifying, means it is less random and you choose whether to go to the optimum strategy or fuel a bit less to get higher up the grid
