wtf Crazy Reputation gain?

The evidence indicates this is related to the server load at peak times. These happened on Sunday and Wednesday both at 19:51 and 19:53, right in the most busy of peak times of the week. In short, the web server clearly needs upgrading.

As for why it happens, as far as I understand the server is having to take several stabs at inserting the data, resulting in a compounded reputation gain multiplied by the number of times it tries to insert.

While both this and simulator instability are due to load, ironically this has nothing to do with the simulator instability happening at the same time, which is due to a networking limitation within the simulator itself. This reputation issue and any slow loading times on the web can be easily rectified by upgrading the web server. I will look in to it with our server management team.
