How is it possible that my drivers have set the exact same times as each other in quali, in every single race so far?

Currently, due to the lowered impact of car development points in Elite because of the doubling of the development range, which made Qualifications between competitive teams mostly a matter of luck with driver error, those driver errors are disabled. So differences in Qualifications should be only due to your teams performance (which is the same for fully trained, or otherwise same skilled, drivers), fuel load and the tiny influence of different ideal setups (Ride Height due to driver height).

Slightly, and differently for each track. For example today my Branca (183cm) did a 1:32.592 and Buemi (168cm, +6 Ride Height) did a 1:32.691, which is quite an extreme difference for them as usually its below 0.03 seconds. In France Buemi did a 1:33.815 and Branca a 1:33.871.

To answer the possible question what would happen if I'd gave Buemi Brancas setup in GB and Branca Buemis in France the answer is: I don't know. I'd expect it won't do good but I still have to test to see if I can prove me wrong.

And in this user's opinion, this all could be vastly improved. I want to live to see live, real-time qualifying and ability to choose tires and PL during live qualifying. This would be huge!

PL means a LOT in this game. Why wouldn't that be a great thing to incorporate into the qualifying session?
