There are a couple of issues in this report:

Australia wrong start tyre - Yes it might be a bug but on the other hand it could be how you set your advanced strategy. To better understand what happened please can you say:

  • What were the weather conditions immediately before lockdown?

  • What were the conditions when you arrived on the grid?

  • What were your main strategy stint 1 tyres?

  • What advanced strategy settings did you have?

  • Did you attend the race?

  • Please provide the race ID.

Bahrain wrong tyre fitted at pit stop - This does indeed appear to be a bug. I had a similar situation on Thursday when I thought I'd asked for inters at a pit stop and Softs were fitted instead. I put it down to me probably incorrectly clicking on the wrong compound because I've never experienced this before.

  • Was it a dry race? (I assume in Bahrain it would have been)

  • What were your main strategy settings?

  • Were you actively managing the race? In other words did you manually change your tyre selection before the pit stop?

  • Please provide the race ID.

Thanks
Kev.

This happened to me. Advanced strat= inters if over 0 mm, Stint 1 Full Wets, Qualied on inters, had to change on grid. Same for at least 4 in my (other account's) league

Hi Rhys.

I believe this is correct. The advanced strategy kicks in if the track is wet and you have enabled it. Presumably the track was wet, you specified Inters if the water depth was greater than zero and this is what you got.

Yeah. Just annoying that it cost me the race that's all.

Sorry about that, I know how you feel, I also learnt from bitter experience.
