today i've another truble whit 2d.
my driver decide to pit at last 2 lap, when he got fuel and tire enough to end race.
that's not the first time, i've got everyday truble whit 2d, i ask for help but nothing is change.
now i'm asking this: i pay for a think that doesn't work, but whitout this is impossible fight for the top.. so.. what are we playng????

look at online game like hattrick or f1project: there's no difference between payng or not payng players, both have the same chance. there's not like this.

i'm sorry, but i believe you have to test it for more, and give more chance to win to no payng players.

have a nice days

I'm sorry about the driver pitting at a strange moment.  I'm aware of that problem but I haven't been able to fix it yet as there have been some even more serious problems cropping up over the past week.

We will eventually introduce live controls even for free players so they will have similar competitiveness once we do that.

Well let me know to you.... when you ask money (i know...donate!!!)  for a game WITH extra futures (thats not donate by law, but pay for extra!!!) at least you have to run a solid game, is it not?...do not ask for money and let it be free TILL de most problems are solved.
thank you for your solid statement!

i think while you develop and introduce new future to an game is normal to have some bugs. having bugs dose not means that an relase isn't stable. I'm paying 2d right now and when i find bugs i report it we have to be more understanding with the developers team....

I know and i will, but untill the bugs (a lot...look at the threads...after a test periode!) are solved don't ask money for the game, it is just not right.
everytime, when the race starts, i think to myself.....is it going well this time with the bugs? you can not put a strategie on it.

mi opinion is without financial support is very dificult to improve any development. in the end we all need to eat!

All games have bugs. I worked at Jagex for a year they are one of the largest Java games companies in the world and they have potentially game breaking issues atleast everymonth.

No money = No staff = No fixes

You pay for the privilige to use the 2D viewer etc. If your not happy then stop paying/playing but tell the developers what happened in a constructive way.
Rants won't make your issue go any higher up their list. Stop flaming them and try and help. Its just out of Beta there are bound to be issues.

They know that from the start...every company needs a solid and strong start....otherwise they will never survive.
in real life, i know!

Sorry about this Laurens.  I checked this specific incident of the driver pitting too early.  Your driver decided to pit to avoid running out of fuel before the end of the race.  How much risk drivers take with the fuel needs to be tweaked.  In your race the driver was factoring in a margin of error of 1.3L, which is a bit high, especially leading up to the finish.

Hi Andrew;

Would it be possible for a future change to incorporate that margin of error as an adjustable option in the 2D on-the-fly race management settings? Sounds like a cool potential option for risk-taking.

It could also be adjustable in advanced strategy tab, judging the previous lap fuel consumpsion or something...

I am assuming that the better trained the driver is then the better his decisions?

If you have a rubbish driver don't blame the program!

There seem to be a lot of comments over recent weeks from people who don't seem to understand that staff with low skill levels will make bad decisions. The game will and should reflect that. Sure there will be bugs but if everyone in your league is at about the same level, these things should even out.

Also, I've never used the 2D viewer but from the sounds of it, people are simply failing to keep an eye on whether their driver wants to come in or not and so manually cancel or re-issue the "box this lap" order. Again, if you have poor quality staff (as I do), your intervention should be expected in order to avoid facepalm moments.

Agree with James, I have had this issue once but stopped it because I was on the 2D. On another note comming on here writing in caps is of no help to anyone, yes be angry and let it come accross in the post but DONT WRITE LIKE THIS! :D

The system that underlies the driver's decision making about pitting has now been significantly improved.  Drivers should now be far less likely to run out of fuel in the pit lane, and also should not pit with an unrealistically large amount of fuel left in the tank.
