I was wondering if there are any changes coming to pit stops? I have noticed some inconsistencies when pitting. I was also wondering if there is a formula for when cars pit? I pitted coming in in 5th place and come out after all pit stops cycle and I am in 10th with 2 cars that pitted behind me passing me in the pits. This didn't just happen 1 time but both times during our Brazil race. If there is a formula for how pits work could it be shared so some of us can understand it? Thanks for your time.
Was there message like your driver runs out of fuel? Because i noticed once that occurs nears the pit the car will have slower pit entry. Putting fuel to match your target stop is crucial. When other drivers peel into the pits, look after the tyres. It is also compromised by the compound, additionally you need to ensure your lap times to pull away likewise real life drivers. Around 60% or less you can use your tyre more. Another thing is you need to pit 2 or 3 laps longer than others.
In Brazil or Interlagos, i may say you need around 18 seconds gap when pitting in.
Least and most i can say. I am not a race genius and definitely my level is still lower than yours. But i hope that alone may help you a little.
