I can’t understand why qualifying times aren’t affected by fuel load. In a game which tries to be as realistic as possible, it appears qualifying is totally random. One way to solve this is to allow fuel load to effect qualifying - take for example my last race in Brazil. I wanted to 3 stop, starting on soft tyres, first stint would be 13 laps. Another racer was going to 2 stop also starting on softs, his first sting was 18 laps. He qualified 4th and I qualified 14th. As is was the only one 3 stopping starting on softs, my race was ruined before the lights had turned green.
Fuel load affecting qualifying would allow for more strategies to be used instead of people sticking to the same boring strategies. It would also allow you to take some control over a very random qualifying.
When F1 used to re-fuel, they qualified on the fuel load of their first stint, I don’t know why we don’t do the same.
