Hi,
I ve got one question regarding the gains in research depending of the strength/weakness of the chief designer.
I did notice that the gains in the weakness area, are lower than the research rate.(almost half of it)
On the contrary i do not see any difference regarding the strength area (no major gain than the research rate).
Is this normal?
What is the point of lower the rate of the weakness area, but not changing anything regarding the strength one?

Yes it is. CD strength gain is about 10% where as weakness 50% less.

so with 44% research center gain I should have 54% with the strenght of the cd? Well that s definitely not what I face this season...
somehow I m flattened at 44%...
could it have something to do with the fact that i modified the strength of the cd using tokens? if it is the case I hope no manager is using money to do so and it would be nice to say it that modifying the strength with tokens do not work properly :D

It's not that, it's because it's 10% bonus on the result, so with a base of 44% it's 48.4% for Strength. Also keep in mind that the resulting gain is always rounded up. So if you're 10 points behind in an area your research result would be 4.4 normal and 4.84 points in strength but in the end it's just 5 points both.

Ok, but in my case I never got more than what I would have gain with 44% (and I m talking sometimes of gain of 17 or 18 points, so normally I should have noticed it).

It'd be the first time I hear of it, but as always with software can't be sure there's nothing wrong. So could you please log the gaps in attributes and your research results, if possible with screenshots, of new strength, old strength and perhaps a neutral skill of the CD and if there's something amiss file a bug report in the bug forum, please? I give it a try myself but it needs time, also it might not affect me.
