Driver experience

Hi guys!

First of all sorry for my bad english And also if the topic has been discussed to much....

But i want to know the impact of low and high driver experience..... i realy can not See a big impact.

So what does mean ,,the driver make less or more mistakes“? What are These mistakes? I tried to analyse the Race Reports but i can’t find any evidence for low and high experience.

Could someone please explain what it realy means?

I am not entirely sure, but in races sometimes a driver makes smaller mistakes (the ones that are disabled for qualifying as you may have read). In a corner respectively after the corner the others cars have closed the gap to your car by a few 0,x sec (Hundertstel).

But you know i have looked so many times into the Race Reports and didnt see any hints in the laptimes of my driver (experience 14vs3). They were nearly equal. So i am start to thinking how neccessry it realy is to have an high experience driver...

Yeah, also the mental attributes, once they are above 15, is there really a huge difference to 20? I haven't noticed one, even if the difference were 5 points per mental attribute or 20 points overall). 

Or mistakes were Qualifying only and therefore are no longer part of the game...
