Why is the rate of rain falling or drying always exponential, I raced a few days ago when the rain stopped and something like a mm of rain dried in a few laps, but towards the end it took many laps before .1 mm dried. The same with rising rain, it gained over a mm in almost less than a minute, but it took 16 laps to gain .2 mm during the race, and took a further 27 laps to gain another mm. The exponential growth/decay of rain makes no sense and makes calculating a strategy impossible on the fly because it goes excruciatingly slow near the 3 mm mark and when it's close to completely drying. I suggest a more linear system at least in the rising rate, but both would be much more realistic.
