Perez/Vettel's Future in F1

Though it is highly unlikely I'm gonna go with option 3 as it pairs the best two drivers imo .

IMO. Anyone who thinks it most likely that Lance won't get a seat in Daddies team are delusional.

That would be unfortunate for Russell, I really want him to get that Merc seat after Lewis/Bottas leave and as long as Lewis stays, hiring somebody like Vettel who is definitely not going to buckle down for second driver status seems a really unwise decision, while maybe Russell could gain some valuable experience if he comes in after Bottas and gets to race alongside Lewis (will also be more exciting!)


The best IMO would be if agent Toto and Lawrence Stroll buy a share in Williams and as they are improving again now and with the new budget limitations (hopefully) get to move further up the pack, Lance gets to develop further there for a few seasons, while Aston Martin get themselves a well experienced lineup with Seb and Checo to continue their surge. It would be so fun if that happens. As for Alfa Romeo seat, I think if Shwartzman/Schumacher win F2 this year, Ferrari should promote the winner to replace Kimi if he's had it with F1.

Most likely option is the boring one, they keep Perez and Stroll. I think we've all let ourselves get sucked into rumours haha! Don't quote this if I'm wrong though lol

With new sponsors coming in (Aston Martin), there may be some pressure on Lawrence Stroll to go for Vettel and Perez as they are more talented while Lance either races for another team or stays in the same team as reserve driver till Vettel retires. By the time Vettel retires, the team would've improved considerably and would be fighting for the championships along with the top teams. This would be a perfect platform for Lance to take over as both the team and his skills would be better by then.

I don't see why Perez or Stroll would be going anywhere. Lawrence has the money but he is smart with it so he is not gonna put it to Vettel just so he can spin.

If Perez outperfoms Lance troll this season, IMO he will be retained another season
Other Possibilty is If Lance troll is retained and Perez is out driver other than vettel will have seat, my view is vettel is too expensive for them. So we may see some other talented driver from backfield to join.
Vettel will sure contact toto for the next season seat.

Nah, the Daimler CEO is so conservative... Mercedes don't bet for their own young talents, they'll NOT sign Vettel to pair Hamilton... EXCEPT if Hamilton retires, cause they don't see Bottas as a good 1st driver
