So yesterday I had a soaking wet race at the Nurburgring in which I pitted on lap 1 to pit for wets. I filled the tank to 102 litres and went out. I was going to pit for dryer tyres if conditions allowed (they didn't), but was wondering about what fuel level I would have to put in. Is the Fuel option in the pit menu a top up or how much the tank will be at when you leave?

If i understand correctly what you're asking, when you put fuel the car always leave the pit with that amount of fuel. It never adds the remaining fuel with the fuel you put in the pit.

For the record, if you pit and ask for a specific amount of fuel, and your driver arrives at the box with more than that amount of fuel, no fuel will be added to the car and the driver will leave with the amount (s)he arrived with (none added, none removed).
