Hello all, I am kind of new to this game. 2 1/2 seasons in. I have noticed that sometimes when I pit, the fuel and tires are at 100% on my out-lap, and sometimes they are at 100% on my in-lap. This has confused me on occasion while I am trying to determine fuel rates, and tire management. It is always one or the other for an entire race, does it depend on the location of the start finish line on the track compared to the pit boxes?

Yup, as you said it depends on where the pit position is in relation to the start finish line. I'd recommend looking at fuel rates after the second lap on fresh tyres.

Data is only saved upon crossing the start/finish line, so as Chris points out, it depends on where your garage is located.

It shouldn't matter much though, you can take averages from the other laps, or write down the fuel level during a live race just before a pitstop.

hi after todays race at the british grandprix i started on soft tyres and on planned on soft tyres for my first stop but changed my mind to hards so did an unsceheled stop,
when i came in it put softs on. So had to come in again 5 laps later to put on hards. and hards was put on.

did the same on the 2nd unschedled stop as the first time so dont know why it didnt work first time. i was running 3rd before all this so cost me points and money.

any ideas why this bugged out.

There is an issue with this that has so far eluded us.

However, I can say from personal experience.....never check the unscheduled stop box. Just change the numbers for the stop.
