Hello all!
After my last season i had a promotion to the Pro League. In my old season the time to production a new component is very good for all components, about 2/3/4 days after the last production. Now in this season i see a very very long time to production a new component, i have hire a new Chief Designer and i have up the number of the Designers....where i wrong?

When you start the season with a low design, you will need a relative low amount of designers per part. When you start the season with a high(er) design, you will need a higher amount of designers per part.

For example. If you start with 20%, at first you will need less than 10 designers per part. If you start with 100%, the amount of designers needed per part will go to 50 and higher.

You can still have parts every two days by asigning enough designer to a part. And you can choose to develop a few parts at the same time and the next day another few parts.

Other design related question. New the game and couldn't quite figure this out. I joined a league which had only 1 race left of that current season. So I was basically joining for the next season. Now the season ended and there are 4 days before the next season. So should I design my parts during this 4 days for "current season" or "next season"? I mean what is the point where the up-coming season will be "current season" and not the "next season"?

As soon as the final race of a season is completed, your chief designer sends you a message titled, "New car design" and writes:

"Our model #A designs have been completed to the new season regulations and fitted to our car.

Regards,
Chief Designer"

What that is saying, all next season components have been fitted to the new car. If you were focusing on next season performance and want to continue to improve those components, now is the time to shift the design emphasis values bar over to current season performance however much you'd like.

Exactly.

OK here's another one: I just started and my current component level is 10% ant the next season performance to 1%

Does this mean that if the season was to end this race i'll have all components at 1% for the new season?

How do I increase the next season performance?

To your first question, yes.
To your second question, your design emphasis on the design page needs to be adjusted if you want to focus on improving next season performance. You can adjust design emphasis to however close to 'next season' you would like it to be.

Thanks!

damn it's harsh!
I know it will depend on several factors but just to be in the ball park, how long does it take to get back at least at 10% if a put full emphasis on "next season"?

Depending on your current season components developments, it can also vary depending on how many designers you have and how many designers you need to assign to it.

You have 10% current season performance on average you say, so for full focus on next season, getting those components to next season performance 10% will take two days, three at the most.

As your current season performance advances, your development gains will decrease.
