What would you say are the best suppliers/supplier combinations? Has it changed from before the update?

I personally haven't changed, but I wonder if it might be worth it.

Also, does anyone else think the option to build our own engines and then hand out contracts to others so that they can use them  would be a good idea? It would make the game more interesting in my opinion, not sure  if it has been suggested before.

Thoughts?

have run murk-beep-bridgerock for ages on two teams i have. tried tifosi, seashells, donelots as that looks like a good balance of performance and longevity and it was quite a bit slower, especially in quali and 1st stint. so have gone back to murk-beep-bridgerock

Tifosi-Beep-Donelots not the best in qualifying but means you can run lighter in the races

Tifosi-Shell- an Komehome here

Tifosi - approx 2% less wear on the life of the engine per 50% race.

Shell - I havent playyed around with the full as of yet

Komehome - I have switched tires twice from Michlen to donelots an find these the best for long runs on temp an overall duribilty for longer stints.

Tifosi has a huge disadvantage in power vs the Murk.  I liked the fuel advantage with Tifosi, but your driver struggles to keep up...

Toymotor, Elves and Komehome for me. May lack in quali but in races it picks up pace

Tested Komehome tires at Monaco where everyone was struggling to get any temperature into their tires due to rain. I expected the widest operating range to be a benefit but I just ended up being massively off the pace due to lack of grip.

Renault/ Shell / Dunlop. Good pace in qualifying. but the first stints in the race are a little slow, seconf and third is where this set up shines you are able to close the gap to Murk or tifosi engines cars on dunlpp and Bridgestone tyres, however sometimes theres too big a gap to challange for the lead so far I've had numerous podiums with this set up but only 1 win.

But softs don't work for me

I might change to toyota or Mercades next season
