Point for fastest lap

Is there a reason there's no option to give the driver with the fastest race lap 1 point? I've seen this brought up a few times on here but have never read a reason why it isn't at least an available league scoring option. Thanks.

Yeah I think it should be added because I get the fastest lap the most often in my league assuming there is a way to prevent people pitting with like 3 to go just to get a point if they know they won't get in the top 10.

You only get a point for fastest lap when u finish top 10

If they added a point for FL everyone would save up even more boost than they do already which would make the races even worse 

Yes but IRL this is line that. And if they save too much theu will lose places, and they will not gain to the trade at all
