Does anyone ever get tired of Hearing that magical F1 V12 engine sound, brings back the memories of my 1st Live Gp at Silverstone in 1991.
Will we ever hear them in real F1 again? not anytime soon thats for sure.

p.s laptop speakers are not loud enough! :P

That is a super noise Gary, even though it had dropped a cylinder in the last couple of runs.

If you are into the sound of racing cars, may I recommend this book, which comes with a cd of the sounds made by the cars.

Mark Hales drives cars owned by Nick Mason, including a mark one V16 BRM. He goes into some depth about the driving experience & the sounds are superbly reproduced.

In addition to the BRM, you will find a Ferrari 312, Ferrari 512 & a DFV (which also drops a cylinder).
