Serious question here.

The BRL contains some of the best racers in iGP. They race every day and have a lot more time to mess with the new updates.

I only race 3 timers per week and I have only changed 1 supplier since the new update which was my tyres to Donelots.

None of my parts at the time was above 90% and I do not have anything special in the way of drivers.

My strategy going in to the race was set at 2 x 6 laps on softs and then move over to 12 laps on hards.. but the softs went so went out of the box, that I kept with it and made 9 stops..

I thought I would check to see what the BRL guys had done of the same track and they actually raced it last night and I was more than a little shocked to see the results for the whole race times...

Errr 18 seconds faster???

Even my fastest lap time was set without any KERS.. Dur to traffic, it was pretty much all but gone by 3/4 race distance.

9 Stops can't be faster than the ones in BRL..

The guy in 3rd in PCGC finished 9 seconds in front of P1 in BRL whilst stopping only "4 times" & the guys in 4th & 5th also did as well with "5 stops", will be different wind conditions & weather, it can make a huge diffference to speed/total race time, see it b4.

I think I said in another thread that we may need to adjust some of the settings.

Clearly 9 stops is not what we were aiming for

Wet until about Lap 48, dry for about 7 Laps and wet again until the end.

Two things:

1. I finished 4th and 5th in the same race as Rob Musgrove. Ten-lap stints, first on Softs, the rest on Hards. Weather at lights-out was 10°C and Sunny, winds out of the West at 21 mph, with 82% humidity. (I like Hards at Britain due to the superior wear rates). I was actually only in attendance for maybe the first 10 or 12 laps.

2. LOL @ Rob's paltry $327 million. Get at my level, bro. ---------------------------------------------------------------↓

Ha, I've missed like half the races this season. You should thank your lucky stars or the deity of your choice that I'm not 100 points ahead in the constructors. Although I will admit that it never occurred to me until very recently to assign my engineers/mechanics to design on season breaks and long mid-season breaks (long weekends and such).

Race times are kind of impossible to judge league by league tbh. Every seasons races in BRL had serious variations in race time, even if the conditions were damn near identical. Some times I could win a race and my total race time was 45 seconds faster than the season before, where the season before I also won AND had a better car.

I think wind plays the biggest part in it. When the wind speed drops to 0km/h (has been a bug for a few months now, I haven't been playing though so I'm not sure if that is fixed?) the races are much much faster.

Cheer Jason. Good reply.

The wind seems like it's back again now... the iGP system has been topped up with Heinz Beans.

He compared a Full Wet race with a Dry Race. Brilliant research rob!! Dry is faster than wet we learn something new everyday!

Just because I didn't let you in our league... Boo hoo. Grow up child.

Yet another account I see that you hide behind. Sums it up really.

Thanks.
