I'm in several leagues, some with a 2 tyre rule in the dry (similar to F1) while others with no tyre rules. Enforcing this rule can be difficult. So could we get an option for hosts to activate this in the game? It would need to be for an entire season, so the host would turn it on or off when going over the schedule for the next season.

The way that I see it working would be like this... After the race leader crosses the line with 2 laps to go, the game checks for those that have only used 1 type of tyre compound (in a dry race). Those managers that haven't followed the rule will be automatically pitted (you can't cancel it if you're online) for SS on the last lap, or softs in the case that somebody tried to run straight SS like at Monaco. Is that something that could be programmed in or would it maybe be too much for the game?

It certainly would be much better than having to go through the race report every time.

This has been suggested a number of times. Personally I agree that it would be good if league hosts were given many more options, things that immediately spring to mind are:
tyre rules, disable refuelling, KERS / boost restrictions, DRS activation in wet conditions, restricting dp saving etc.

But it's important you understand that Mods are volunteers who help to manage the forum, we are not employees of iGP Games and do not set the direction in which the game evolves.

The good news is that whilst they rarely comment, all of the suggestions are read by iGP Staff.

It's already a two compound tyre race in about 80% of the races we have and we don't have a 2 compound rule. iGP manager must have tweaked the SS to be that little bit better. Mediums don't work unless the temperature is in the mid-'30s. Soft tyres have a huge temperature range and Hards, they might as well not be in the game

The 2 tyre rule for me if ignored should mean start at the back of the grid, why should I bother when others just use medium and gain points, needs to change as I'm ready to quit

These options would be awesome. I mean even if we just have the option to switch on/off 2 tyre rule, but if we could have control on everything you have mentioned above, that would give this game a twist.

I am the host of the league.
We have a rule of 2 tire types per race.
Limit of 4 types of tires per season. A total of 175 sets of tires for 22 races.
After each race, I check to use managers of 2 types of tires and the number by limit.

I adnire your dedication to your league, that must involve a lot of work. Well done. It would be nice though if the league manager could just select them as options
