Hi All.

I having issues with my team. Im in a rookie league and my ave 80% in performance for parts. this is my second full season. Ive spied on the other teams and there performance is way below mine. I have DRS & KERS and i still have to push really hard to ge tto the front. I trained my guy for maximum speed, Build all my parts for maximum quallity, use MURK, SEASHELLS and BRIDGEROCK. Have the highest quality staff members available to me. and I still struggle. do all my testeding , replace parts every race and do my setups. I got that desparete that i got rid of my driver for a gut with 20 talent and still stuggled.

Any suggestions would be greatly apprecitated.

If you have a guy with 20 talent, keep him.

Just keep training them up and focus on Physical + Speed. Always keep their health at 100% or as high as you possibly can. After a season or two with this focused-training you will start to see results. You will not see results immediately... unless you are in a league with a bunch of bad / inactive players. Just keep training and once you peak at Physical and Speed, start to train Attacking and Defending.

Good luck.

Thanks for that but why are people with less cars and drivers beating me?

It doesn't really matter if they have more or less cars & drivers. The driver needs to be trained up after every race.

If you are leveling up your staff and keeping your car at a high design % like you say you are, then all that is left for you to master is driver training.

So what your telling me is that in this game it doesnt matter if your car or driver is better in all aspects this game is completely random?

Your drivers health is junk. So was your former drivers.... 55% is bad. Try running a marathon half exhausted.

Your drivers were both heavy as well. which begs the question of what kind of strategy you were using.

Also training just for speed will not work...and has obviously been counterproductive.

Aaron, with 50% health your driver now has a max speed number of 9.5 (assuming you have all your speed stats maxxed at 19).  Now what that speed stat means as far as how much of the car development is effectively dropped due to the lower driver stats I don't know but if your driver is only using 50% of his speed and other stats he it is safe to say that he is far from using the the full capabilities of the car.

I had a similar problem but I was fine with it becuase I just assumed people in my league had really well developed cars but it really annoyed me when I was matching them (if not beating them) pace wise and then all of a sudden I was 0.5-1 seconds off the pace. I swapped my suppliers to the following after the new build a few weeks back.
Engine: Murk to Rednote
Tyres:     Bridgerock to Dinelotes
Fuel stayed as seashells

I was advised to do this by somone on my league and it improved my  race pace  abit but now my quali times are around 0.5 seconds of where they would have been with the orignial suppliers but atleast I was back fighting for wins again.
I then noticed my driver's health was way down at 31% by the end of a race and at around 38% before a race so I thought I would try to improve it.

After just 2 races I'm up to 45% at the start  of races and I would say throughout the course of a 50% it has saved me a good 10-15  seconds so I can't imagine how much increasing the health up to 100% would save me.
Your suppliers are fine so just focus on the health, I'm thinking of switchig my suppliers back.

Health is quite important and having high health (and good stamina to boot) can win you races at the lower levels. When I first because competitive on this game (on my original account), my driver wasn't as skilled as those of my competitors, but I was getting results simply because my driver was in better physical shape, so when other drivers started losing pace, mine was still quick.

What you should really do is look for drivers aged 17, with 19 or more talent and decent health (above 60%). Some of these guys are saying atleast in the 90's but tbh, at rookie level everyones drivers health suck! Check your reward points aswell, if you have 100, you should consider curing one of your drivers if there good enough.

I just started, got my first race tonight. This health you talking about, how do you do to get it up? Say I would be down to 50% or something, what should/can I do after the race?

Train Physical/Health after races is the best way - if you have enough reward points built up, you can opt to "refresh" (i.e. bring up to 100% health) your driver in one shot.
