Possibly crashes/spins if the league owner can enable/disable them, would be more interesting

i get that crashes are a bit much, but what about slight errors like running wide or s🅱️ins? It would shake up a little, but its not completely race ending and its up to you to manage and finesse your way back up the field

In really close leagues, it is always hard to work you way up but doable with a good race and strategy. To eliminate that hard work through bad luck is just wrong imo, I don't wanna make up 5 places in the first half of the race then lose them again for something I had nothing to do with

It's the question if people prefer a game of a skill or luck. No question the latter can also be entertaining and of course with skill you can recover some of the damage but as long the competitors are actual competition it still means recovering to get into points instead of the podium before the incident. If it happens once more than to any of the competition that's good bye to championship.

I personally feel like a game with more luck based elements works better when you are playing against AI and a game that revolves around skill works better online. I would like adding crashes and spins if the game was not against other players but since it is and that is a major part of the fun of the game I do not want crashes and spins.

Yes. Also those more random elements would work better in the kind of manager games where you don't own or are the team and improve it to the max but are just a team manager getting hired, trying to make the best out of team given just to get fired if the AI thinks you should have done better with the given state (ironically you often just built up to be as good as it currently is) or jump yourself at a better offer to up your career. Don't think someone pulled it off to make such a game online, though, and it fits more to like football than the racing theme anyway.

It is interesting that some people forget that in this game, you are only managers of your team...
