I can report that it was a great weekend, not just for those of us with petrol in our veins but my wife had a great time too, with all the off-track activities.
If you get the chance to go to any of the Goodwood events, I cannot recommend them highly enough.
The website has videos & pictures from the weekend if you need convincing
Went to the Festival of Speed last year for the first time. :)
It turned out to be the 20th aniversery, and joy of joy what an experience that was. Took over 3000 pictures of F1, WEC, BTCC, WTCC, Rally and Supercars in 1 day.
There was so many great cars there. F1 world championship winning cars from over the years.
The best part of it was getting up close to them and seing the engineers fiering them up 5m away from you. There was also the hillclimb with loads of action throughout the day.
Towards the end of the day Sky F1 was doing interviews and I got to talk to Damon Hill, Sir Jackie Stewart and Emerson Fittipaldi and get their autographs.
Really a once in a liftime experience for me, even though I am only 16 and from Norway. There is nothing like going to a Goodwood event like Andrew said.
