Hey guys, seems there was a massive misunderstanding with everyone's race times. It seems everyone believed the game is running under Greenwich Mean Time.

This is wrong, the game uses BST (Because it is on a British Provider) which was moved forward one hour because of the beginning of the British Summer Time. This means all races began an hour earlier.

Hopefully next year, we'll all get it right.

Why does the igp clock continue to be wrong though, look at your pm's they are all an hour out, you sent a pm at 4.46pm then click on your sent messages and its says you sent it at 5.46pm.

same with receiving them, you get a message at 4.50pm (my clocks at home are correct sky/laptop/rc clock etc) but its says you actually got in 1 hours time at 5.50pm even though its clearly 4.50pm..

I just ran the same test you did and mines came back the same and unfortunately, the times are correct.

I am assuming you are using a clock or your computer clock to write down your message send time correct? Also being UK Time?
I would also assume your Time settings on your manager page is set to GMT London correct?

BST is not the same as GMT, and the two will be an hour different.

My clocks are correct (laptop, sky tv, iphone) only thing i had to change was my microwave to the correct time of all my other clocks.
My account has been onn auto corrrect daylight savings for 2 years and not had this problem during a timezone change, so whats changed to make us have to 'un-check' auto daylight savings in manager tab to get the correct time?

I'm in Portugal, which means I also changed the time (one our forward) here, but on IGP everything is one hour early..  here it's now 14:09, and when my buddy changed the our Leage racing hour, I received the notification "marked" with 15:09..

The server iGP is on is BST, but iGP is still configurated to be on GMT. Now the server time goes 1 hour foreward and iGP compensates 1 hour foreward if you've got the option checked in your settings to adjust to summer time. You can fix this by just unticking the box, as it will still go back to GMT when summer time ends.

I am confused.

It doesn't take much I know, but.....surely the servers run on GMT don't they?

A mistake was made by an individual from a third-party server management team who control configuration / setup of the iGP servers. They mistakenly configured it to use Daylight Savings Time rather than stick to the GMT time zone. This resulted in some races being skipped and others running an hour early.

This mistake has been rectified and we will address requests to reset / postpone races if necessary, in this thread:
